Courses to do along with CA Articleship


CA articleship is a mandatory training for CA student after qualifying their Intermediate exams. The training is for 3 years which needs to be done under a registered CA or registered CA firm. Many students opt for doing an additional professional course along with this training to enhance their skills and have a better and rewarding career profile.

There are certain guidelines set by ICAI for doing other professional courses along with CA articleship. According to the guidelines, ICAI requires the student to fill a form asking gor the permission before pursuing any other professional course.


  1. Certified Financial Planner (CFP): The Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is an international certification program organized and supervised by the Financial Planning Standard Board (FPSB), an Indian government-approved entity that deals with financial matters. This course provides you with a variety of abilities that might be useful in addition to CA. This is a certification that covers various topics such as financial planning, investment planning, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning. CFPs are trained to provide comprehensive financial planning services to individuals and businesses, including advice on investment management, retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, risk management, and more. They can help clients develop a personalized financial plan that takes into account their goals, risk tolerance, and other individual factors.


  1. Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA): This is a certification course that focuses on the auditing of information systems. With the increasing use of technology in businesses, it is essential to have knowledge and skills related to information systems audit. This course will provide an understanding into the different types of Computer Hardware and Software which permits the management to yield tactical business conclusions and how the software intermingles with the hardware. It also helps in giving details about database management system (DBMS) and its use in the company in organizing the data.
